Contribution Rules

The maximum campaign contribution permitted by Kansas law per election cycle is $500 for an individual, business or PAC and $1,000 for a married couple. The election is divided into two cycles: (1) the primary election runs through August 7, 2018 and (2) the general election runs from August 7, 2018 to November 6, 2018. Please include your name and address with any contribution over $20. If your contribution is in excess of $150, Kansas law requires we collect your occupation and your home or business address. Businesses, PACs and lobbyists are prohibited from contributing to a campaign while the Kansas Legislature is in session, however individuals may contribute at any time.
